Franklin SA-98 Spelling Ace with Thesaurus
This is a product from 1998, my first one lasted 19 yrs. This item is great for looking up spellings of words, and for solving crossword puzzles. I use mine for Facebook - Words with friends. - Long Lasting - Does not go thru a lot of batteries - Easy to read - Easy to use ** Do not confuse this one with the 2nd edition. The 2nd edition does not have word solving games and has a smaller screen size. **Both editions have the same model numbers.

This diary -though with relatively small memory size-looks and feels as a small pda. Buttons are for diaries just amazing-big and soft, feels like a PC. Thats why typing is a pleasure. Screen is big but display itself could be better-pixels are lacking contrast in any position. Overall feeling from this diary is good. Also, note that with batteries on board its pretty heavy. Great help with spelling
This was purchased for a friend who has trouble spelling. He is almost 70 & can't handle a talk to text phone. This has been a big help, especially the phonetic feature.
