Elgato converts your old videos without hassles.
The elgato video capture devise, although quite expensive compared to other similar devices, is easy to install and use. The picture quality is great and old videos can be uploaded to YouTube directly. I'm happy with this purchase.

*****WARNING: Has great potential but.. *****WARNING!*****
This COULD be a really good system BUT the picture quality promised is nowhere near what you get. After contacting the company & spending weeks changing the programming to get the best possible outcome, in the end if failed. Initially the quality was approx 20% of the quality of the video going into the system. After adjusting the settings, the device could not handle the video on the best quality settings. Why this is so is beyond me. Even with the best quality I could get out of it, the picture & sound did not work & it was as though the sound was dubbed in. Going down a level, it was too hard to view the result. I would strongly advise against wasting your money on a product that does not deliver as promised.

Great little device! Could be better
This is a really great capture device and does exactly what it’s meant to do. However with a little adjusting, the video picture quality can be slightly better and in terms of resolution can be much better. However, not much complaints and it does come with an extra RCA cord! Recommended

Worth the money over the other cheapies!
Although this product is about 5 times the price of the cheapest versions, it is definitely worth the money and does exactly what it should. I found this product recommended by a youtuber who needed to digitise his VHS tapes (like me) and had tried many other brands. Decided to follow his advise and he was spot on. The first difference I noticed was the cleaner signal delivered from the my VHS tape drive to the PC. My previous video capture device showed a lot of frame stutter which I put down to years of inactivity of the VHS tapes and my tape drive, so was really stunned to find the cleaner signal when I used the Elgato video capture.

Easily Convert Analogue to Digital
This is one of those products that just works out of the box! I downloaded the free software, followed the instructions and my digital file was written and stored as the VHS tape played. I used a Mac computer with this device, so it definitely works on the Mac.

Worth the higher price
This product was easy to use, the software has to be downloaded and installs easily. Don’t waste your money and especially your time trying to make the cheaper types of capture devices work. This will capture colour video and sound from your VHS video player unlike the cheaper type which would not capture the video in colour.

Best digitizing product out there 2019.Period!
I have purchased and tried to use several well known brands of digitizing products to work with the windows 10 platform and none work only giving frustration and loss of hard earned money.This product worked strait out the gate no drama just hook it up load the drivers then the software and bang your in the game.This is good equipment made well and does what it says.
