Great option for commuting on your 29er
If you are thinking about using your 29er as a commuter but are worried about rolling resistance and having a hard time finding the right set up these tires will ease your mind. They roll fast have little to no resistance and grip very well. I used to ride my commute to work 7.5 miles on an average of 27-30 min with my knobbies at a decent amount of energy being spent. With these tires same energy output but im averaging 24 min. They really do make a huge difference. But...... the side walls are thin, its a good material but it is thin so keep that in mind also they are fat i had maxxis icon 29x2.2 on my 29er /846x19mm wheels and these are almost the same height and width as before so dont go to much over the size you have on now because you will use up your clearance. They mount easy fit well and are well constructed
