    Simple but super

I used two Philips Airfloss before buying a Panasonic EWDJ10. On my next visit some 8 months after buying it my dental hygenist remarked about how much I had improved as there was so little tartar to be removed. I had used the Panasonic gum irrigator.dental water flosser morning and evening each day. Otherwise no change in my personal dental care. I bought a new one as a replacement due to the fair wear and tear of my original one which is otherwise working as well as when it was new just lost its brand new shine. I round rechargeable batteries were better & longer lasting. I have no hesitation in recommending this simple quality product which does what it says on the box very well.

  • Most critical review

Its okay - but it is not rechargeable and costs a fortune in batteries

Other reviewers have said this is rechargeable - it isn't You can use rechargeable batteries of course, but I wanted a plug in unit that would recharge itself. This unit eats batteries - the set that came with it lasted 3 days, used no more than 6 times. I would not have bought this if I'd known it was not rechargeable - so the other reviews were misleading, or are about another product. Not bad for the money, it does the job but not what I wanted.

  • Efficient flosser

This flosser is easy to use, comfortable to hold, and is power on both 1&2 speeds of pulsation. Collapses telescopically, hence more compact to store when not in use. Powered by two AA sized batteries. Very impressed by its performance, I was quite taken back by that! Recommended!! 5 STARS *****

  • Great water flosser

Purchase this a couple of weeks ago, well impressed with the overall quality and ease to use, two levels of strength which are excellent. I previously had a rechargeable water jet which was difficult to clean the Panasonic is so easy to clean as well as being more convenient especially when away.

  • Oral water flosser

I bought this flosser to take on holiday, I have one that plugs into the mains and needed one to replace my old travel one as the battery wouldn’t hold a charge. I chose this one mainly because it took batteries which can be removed when I’m not going away. I also love the compactness, it’s a clever design.

  • Very poor design. Only works at a certain angle, so constantly having to twist to avoid just air coming out

When it works it is OK. But it has a cheapo tube down into the tank, so unless you hold in exactly the right angle it just picks up air. Similar to when you have a kitchen cleaner pump bottle and the tube is bent the wrong way, so you just get air and not product when you squeeze the trigger, and we all know how annoying that is.

  • Excellent buy

I brought this because my dentist said i have gum disease. As my teeth don't really have gaps I can't floss etc. So started to use this instead and must say very good piece of kit cleans the gums well batteries last well over a week and they were cheap ones too. Over all I give it 5 out of 5. Good price. Batteries last long time and saves you time too. Just remember to keep your mouth closed when using it as it sprays everywhere lol.

  • Worth it if you want a water pick on a budget

Used this product a few times now. I think its great, its another tool to help me maintain a healthy mouth. I'll say why I bought it but I will also now say that I can feel a noticeable difference in my back teeth than before. I keep getting jip off the dentist for not flossing properly. I find it difficult to clean my wisdom teeth with floss. I also had a few pulled teeth so its created weird gaps that my electric toothbrush can't hit. The water pick has solved that. All in all if you want a water pick I'd recommend this one if you're on a budget. I haven't yet found out the battery life in this but at this point i'm going to invest in rechargeable batteries to keep this product going. I think it's worth it. Yeah its awkward and foreign to use but I didn't expect anything different.

  • If it ain't broke don't fix it

I've used a Panasonic EW1270 for years but alas it recently stopped working. I did take it apart to see if I could fix it. What an elegantly designed bit of kit. But alas not working. In consequence I had to purchase the EWDJ10 which is not a patch on it's predecessor. This little beauty decides to close itself up jumping out of your mouth and if you're really lucky shooting straight up your nose.

  • Good News/Bad News

Does certainly clean debris from teeth BUT very messy to use. Also difficult to manoeuvre the on/off switch while in use. Not a good design.
