I have made much better antennas for my self. The reason that i bought this antenna was because of its small size. I tested the antenna on several spots that i normally use my scanner and i must say that this antenna is a dissapointment. It does get the air band but fairly week. Even at the airport it struggles to get the planes on grund. I had to modify this antenna in order to be OPTIMEZED for air band. Watson says them selves that this antenna is carefully tuned to be optimized for the airband and i can say that´s not the case. It is Ruffly tuned for airband and it could have been much better! Save your money or buy something else.
