Best tool for getting back to bare metal.
To prepare vehicle bodywork for welding, sometimes there are inaccessible/difficult areas. A grinding disc on the angle grinder does a pretty good job on straight areas but the risk of damage is high and it can be difficult to get into hard to reach places. This attachment is superb for removing the paint and gets down to bare metal easily. I also used it on a large area, i.e. bonnet/hood which had lost its laquer and had started to peel, without using pressure it caused no damage to the metal and I was able to prime and re-spray the whole thing. Much,much quicker than a sander. For getting down to bare metal and for removing the slag and burrs from welding, this worked a treat too. A must have item for any vehicle bodywork. Make sure that it is tightened sufficiently on the angle grinder. It can be a bit difficult with a regular spanner or adjustable wrench so a set of thin spanners would be ideal for this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This item is ideal for removing paint on stone and concrete and cleaned my large stone steps of the flaky paint and took them back to a re-paintable surface.
