i would not say it's an 'awesome' design, but the original design by fender fits and works much better than the less expensive clones of this design i've bought. the down side on all the 6 saddle retro fits for vintage tele 3 saddle bridges that i've tried so far is they don't work with all of my tele necks. the string spacing is right at 54 mm's for this bridge, others are at 55 mm's. that may place the high and low e strings too close to the edge of the fingerboard depending on the width of your neck. spec width at the heel for a fender neck is right at 55mm's, including the hard finish. fender or someone else should make this with the 52.5 mm spacing you find on a strat bridge. that would fit every tele neck perfectly. but this is still the best product. it retains the vintage look of the guitar and fits right onto the existing 4 screws holes. you can take it off at a later time if desired with no damage to the guitar
Modernize your Telecaster; get the intonation spot-on!
I'm glad this is a genuine Fender product; I can now intonate the guitar with no compromises whatsoever. I have super-accurate pitch, and I get more than annoyed at incorrect intonation. This does the trick. THANK YOU!
