lovely model.
My Father flew this aircraft for may year and I flew in it on many occasions. It has pride of place by my Father's photograph on the mantelpiece. This aircraft was very special to him. Thank you, Best wishes and keep safe. From Deborah.

The perfect small VC10 model!
The VC10 is one of my favourite aircraft. I was a doctor in the RAF in the 70s and early 80s, and flew in them quite a lot, including some long distances. I recall flying at over 600mph according to the pilot, with the aid of a strong jet stream, flying north from Ascension Island back to the UK in the early 80s. A superb and beautiful aeroplane, perhaps the most beautiful large passenger aircraft of the 20th century. I have a much larger model of it, with aeromedical markings, too.
