Add better sound to you computer
I have used this to output to my microlab 2.1 speakers at work for quite some time now, it has NEVER given me any issues. Compared to my laptop headphone output the differance is noticably better, soundstage is improved and hold on low end too with a clean and clear sound, can't vouch for the input side I have used it but not enough to form an opinion. Small is mighty
