Good size, good price, but brittle plastic pad lock holders
Good size but the only thing i didn't like was I put pad locks in the two holes provided on each side for a pad lock and by just rotating the lock up broke out the plastic...so pad lock holes not sturdy! of course I still have the center lock provide so it is still secure but I have to wonder how much force would it take to break the brittle plastic????Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tough box but locking mechanism is under par
This is one strong box! It's heavy at over 30 lbs but you can't hurt it either. The only negative that I have is the lever to open/close/lock the box. After repeatedly (maybe 4) turning the lever, it became harder and harder to open the box. Well worth the money!
I bought this storage box due to some thug life breaking into my SUV and stealing some tools. I bought this toolbox as a deterrent and I'm very impressed with it. It is the exact fit for my rear vehicle compartment, very sold build and it's huge! So lots of storage room. It came with 2 keys. I know a determined thief could get into this, but it would take some effort. Normally thief's are in a hurry, so this is a very good deterrent secure storage box.
