Good Price, Great Product, I would recommend.........
Very nice overall the ONLY con would be Difficult to clean the sides that the light comes through. but this product WORKS GREAT and it is very nice for indoor use. The reason I still clicked "Star" for easy to clean is, The bottom try pull out and is great to clean very easy to use. it's just difficult to clean the sides where the cooking light comes through to provide he heat. The smoke is almost nothing. I use it under the micro-wave and with the little small exhaust fan you would never even know a person was cooking.... Need to up the Wattage.
Good product I haven't found a better one yet. If Phillips made the unit to produce a little more heat it would be a much better/truer searing/cooking grill. No Instructions
The grill works great out of the box..It was clean and had all hardware. The only problem was there was NO instructions..Like, how long to cook a steak or chicken. My 1st test was a nice T-BONE steak.. I like mine medium/rare.. It ended up well done..Yugh!!! Custemer service sent me a couple files for cooking..(I could NOT open up the files.) My recommendation would be to include ""approximate"" cooking times for foods.. I got them with my George Foreman grill and also my NU-WAVE oven.. Perfect for apartment dwellers.
This grill performed better than I expected! i've had it a couple of days and have used it twice on chicken, pork chops and veggies. Chicken took longer than what it said on the manual. it took about 45 minutes to cook a chicken leg but the pork chops and veggies were pretty spot on. they were seared and throughly cooked. its hard to mess this up because there only 3 settings; off, on, low. I suggest to pre-heat for that sizzle! I bought this because I live in an apartment building I wanted to be able to grill on my patio without freaking out the neighbors with the smoke. it worked out great! it's not completely smoke free but minimal enough to not set off your smoke detectors provided you set it up under a range hood or ventilate your place. cleaning the grill and drip tray was easy. the inside of the grill gets stained. Is it worth the price when i could've gotten george forman? yes it is. the infrared heat source replicates hot coal or direct fire whereas other indoor grills are like "grilling" on a cast iron griddle. compact? Indoor nearly smokleless grilling is here!
I had seen this item on TV, but wasn’t interested in paying full price. This refurbished model was as good as new and worked flawlessly. As advertised there was no spatter and little or no smoke. Portable, lightweight
We wanted a good smokeless indoor grill for our apt, this Phillips grill is great. there is equal heating on ANY part of the grill.. checked with infrared digital theremomater, no hot coils.. infra-red heat, drip pan keeps the smoke at minimum. We use it on the stove and under the micro wave which has an exhuast if we need it. so far we have cooked steak, burgers, chicken grilled veggies, onions. we are happy with it..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
