50 years on, and still good
It's been through a few revisions, but I've just replaced my D534 in the same place as one I fitted 49 years ago, and only because the lamp has failed. The early ones used to last a few years, but the current design seems to have lasted ages - probably over 15 years - and the contacts and case are still in brilliant condition. OK replacement
Fixing hole spacing differed from the 20 year old brass friedland illuminated bell push it was replacing, though overall size & appearance the same. Don't know why they don't use an led rather than a bulb these days even if transformer feed voltage is AC -that's what a diode does. Better than the old one

Easy replacement. Glad you can still get them.
Just like the original, except they now appear to have LED illumination, so the light should last a lot longer. Also got a new feature where the bell push itself pops out of the bit you screw to the wall, making it easier to wire up. The black cover holds it in place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good, but could be better at little extra cost.
Remains permanently lit (except when the bell-push is pressed). Pity that the lamp is incandesant not a led, but I guess the (nesessary) inclusion of a spike suppressor in the circuit will add to the cost.
