These D'Addario NYXL strings really do make a difference in note quality and sustain and seem to get more out of the Pups . They stretch in on the second pull and after that you can bend away to your hearts content and are playable for up to 2,3, or even 4 times longer than any others I have used, so are well worth the cost. Purchased these as I know how good d’addario strings are from using them on my acoustic and after I guaged the old set and discovered only a very slight difference on the 2nd string so settled on the these 11/49’s on a BC Rich copy which I was loaned recently by a friend. Very impressed how they hold their tune and after setting/checking the intonation, only the G string was ringing in a bit sharp after checking at the twelfth fret and with no more adjustment left.
