Needs time to settle in but otherwise great
Before I purchased this I'd read a number of reviews saying how noisy it was but the spec seemed great for the price and I don't game so went ahead with the purchase. Sure enough for the first week it hissed and whirred like an asthmatic laptop and had updates to apply at the end of every day. Once this was over and everything was up to date it settled down and is extremely quiet unless I'm doing extremely ram intensive stuff like Blender or VideoPad editing. No complaints about it at all, 2nd time Pavillion owner and so far if it holds up I'll probably look for an HP replacement next time ....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
