Taco Premium Release Clips
I fish light tackle and was looking for a release that is consistent at low end release settings. These were sold in pairs, one works as hoped the other, not so much. The stock releases that came with the basic outrigger kit from Taco work just as well or better at low end settings. This is not "feels like" data, but actually measured with a tension gauge for consistent release forces.

Use on long outriggers, heavy load.
Although these are a bit pricy, they stay closed under rough water conditions with changing load and are readily adjustable.
