Size is everything!
I find the thing I like most about my new purchase is the pan size! After having previously used a 30cm sautee pan to stir fry my veg, I find the extra diameter VERY handy. It gives more room for more of the veg to come into simultaneous contact with the cooking surface, resulting in a faster and more even cook. The cooking surface is wipe-clean which is great. I have only two issues at the moment . The first is that the thermostat is not very precise (which is not a great surprise, given the reasonable price of the pan). It might be my lack of experience with the pan, and that I will gain better control with experience. We shall see! And the second is how the knob fits to the centre of the lid. It comes loose quite easily because it is fixed by a single bolt from the underside, which secures the knob and a metal collar. However, the collar is located between the base of the knob and the surface of the lid. The collar has a sharpish edge which is in direct contact with the glass lid and I am reluctant to screw the bolt down hard enough to be properly tight as I fear breaking the glass lid with the edge of the collar. Maybe a silicone gasket around the edge of the collar would be the answer? Then one could feel the tightening of the bolt compressing the gasket. Just a thought. Apart from that, early opinions of the pan are all positive. I have purchased a few VonShef products, and, although the brand was new to me, I shall not hesitate to look at this brand first for future purchases. Vonshef multicooker failed
Excited. Used the multicooker first time few days after it has been delivered. It worked fine at first though i dont liked the heat go on and off too often. In 5 mins or so had electric went off (all sockets). Sorted main switch. Turned on the multicooker again. The indicator light turned on but never worked again. VonShef Large Frying/cooking pan
It is a great size - we have cooked a whole breakfast in it for 6 people - it is also brilliant for paella's, stews etc. Heats up quickly, the temperature control is excellent, it is lightweight and the non-stick surface makes it very easy to clean. I have bought two more of these for gifts as 'thank you' to people and they have all been chuffed to bits. Love it.
I wanted this item to go with my electric pressure cooker. I can now sauté my meat ,herbs etc before putting them into my pressure cooker. Made breakfast in it amazing fried eggs. It heats up really fast and no splattering fat. I would definitely recommend this product. It's lightweight and easy to clean and a really great price.

Brilliant multi purpose pan
The electric pan is so versatile. We have mainly used it for making a full cooked breakfast for two in it when holidaying. Holiday cottage kitchens tend to be small so this is great. You can plug it in outdoors and basically cook whatever you want in it, steak, sausages, pasta , anything. We love it.
