So easy to use, and crushes to a fine powder, only thing i would say is if you have physical issues with hand mobility you may struggle to get the desired effect of powdered tablets such as multi vitamins and harder coated tablets. Does not work for small tablets

I had one of these and after 2 years the centre piston gave way, I ordered 2 red ones of these that looked the same, but when the 2 units arrived, they crushed (with extreme difficulty) 4 Metformin Tablets and the threads collapsed. Poor quality
It is extremely difficult to crush the pills with this item. The top crusher sticks and then jams. There also seems to be a gap between the crusher and the tablets, really have to tighten the top to crush them. Does not work.
You would have to have pills so small they are hardly worth crushing for the crusher I got to work. I tried to crush Metformin tablets. They are not large compered with half the pills one takes. They are the standard pills for diabetes. I have to crush them to mix them with water to feed them to an animal. After putting the pill in the crushing chamber the lid could hardly be screwed up, perhaps a two-thirds turn. Then on turning the plunger, the plastic threads on the bottle, on to which the plunger screws, simply broke off, leaving the tablet intact and the crusher unusable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Useless for purpose !
I did not find it any help, I have arthritis in my hands and it has to be screwed very firmly which I am unable to do and even then does not make a very good job. It is too big so any pill escapes to the side !!! Waste of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
