"Quality and Great Features for the Price."
My first observation upon receiving the "Odyssey Black Label Universal Case" was how well packed the unit was for shipping. I was really impressed with the quality of materials used to construct the product. Case appears to be "solid" and doesn't seem or feel cheap.The "high tension spring latch" adds another level of quality to the case, as well as the two locking mechanisms that secure the upper and lower halves of the case together. For extra security you can also add locks to the locking mechanisms. The interior of the case is what you'd expect from a quality product, foam padding taylored nicely to fit the case. The cushions cradle and protect my turntable nicely. Another nice feature is that in the lower back of the case if you unscrew the face plate, there is a "port hole" allowing you to run your "RCA Cables / Power Cable" directly through the case. The look and finish of the "black on black color scheme" is sleek and adds quality. I truly felt like I got my moneys worth in purchasing this product and that it did come well as advertised. And yes I would highly recommend this case for the price.

Quality cases
3/8 inch ply compared to 1/4 inch ply that a lot of other companies use. Latches are solid. I expect the paint will chip, but all I care about is protecting my tables which they do very well. The spare foam pieces can form to fit any turntable. The hinges have been a problem for some, to resolve that issue just lay the case down flat instead of on t he side where the hinges are. Good deal as well.
