Pleasant sound, fair quality
The picture appeared to have the chimes attached with chains. The image is very deceiving. It made the chimes look shorter and more squat. I was extremely disappointed when I learned these chimes were made in China!. I am not able to use them outdoors, as I had intended, because they will not survive the rain and the elements. Not what it seems
The description makes it sounds like it is a large deep tone wind chime with 17" tubes. Like the description says "Large Deep Tone Wind Chimes Home Resonant Decor Large Bell Windchime 17 Inch" WELL...... that's not the case. It is a little thing and 17" is the overall length INCLUDING all the strings, even the one it hangs from. Since it is that small it is a high pitch chime. SO if you are actually looking for what the chime says it is... keep looking. "So peaceful and calming to listen to"
I love my chimes. They are may be only 17 inches long but I hang them from my lower branches of my shade tree over my lounge chair. You don't want a bit gong sound. They are so quietly relaxful and calming to listen to. I have had them outside like this for 2 summers (protected by the tree leaves) and bring them inside for winter. They've held up well. People who visit comment on them. I've given 2 for gifts.
