Created by Activision and Toys For Bob, the Skylanders Trap Team figure features the dark centaur, Knight Mare. The figure was released by Activision in December 2014 and introduced new light and dark elements that the company was preparing to add to the Skylanders universe. The Mare is posed with her front legs raised. The Skylanders Knight Mare figure is colored in black, shimmery blue, and green hues. The centaur appears ready to battle evil with her hunting skills with a trusty Traptanium Lance gripped in her right hand and resting across her shoulder. The Mare is often featured with her combat partner, Knight Light, who carries a Traptanium blade. The Trap Team member fights along the Mare to protect Starlight from the grips of evil. The Knight Mare is a huntress who is capable of defending herself without assistance from trap team characters in the pack. Bravery and stubbornness are her special traits that make her a formidable opponent in the Skylanders game. Using Traptanium Lance as her master weapon, she can inflict mortal injuries with a single swing of the blade. Also equipped with a "Horn of Shadows," this shadowy fighter can cause damage by blowing the horn from a distance. The horn is mostly used as a secondary weapon to fight stronger enemies to decrease their strength and agility. For more advanced moves, one can also use the "Sword Charge." The charge allows the character to enter a melee and knock her enemies out with the tip of the sword. Perhaps, her ultimate power resides in the "Shadow Explosion." This is created by raising the sword toward the sky to summon the dark energy. As a result of the explosion, every shadow around her will feel the damage and magic force of the sword. In the game, extra energies, such as Shadow Explosion, Horn of Shadows, and the Sword Charge, were boosted as the Knight Mare continues to absorb Skylanders shadows. The more shadow she absorbed, the more damage the sword could inflict by increasing the potency of primary and secondary attacks. For anyone interested in enjoying the trap team gameplay, the individual Trap Masters are necessary to complete most of the expedition. The character is supported by Xbox 360, Xbox One, 3DS, Wii U, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 formats. Similarly, you can enjoy it across platforms because Skylander figures and trap team are interchangeable. Also, note that the bottom of each figure tells which series it belongs to. Used in box.
Received the skylander and was disappointed to find out that character had been removed from the box and then put back in amd sold as "new in box". Thankfully able to hide it when wrapping it to my son so he doesnt see the slit cut into the box.
