Darlac lightweight shears
At the age of 70 I decided I wanted a decent pair of shears! On reading the reviews I decided on Darlac. I was not disappointed. They arrived quickly and well packaged. The shears are extremely sharp and the longer handles make clipping shrubs so much easier for me as I am only 5ft in height! They are also very light which means I can use them for longer. Strong handles and very sharp!
These are ideal for trimming soft hedges/shrubs etc. The steel blades are VERY sharp and best of all, because the rest is made of cast aluminium, they don't feature the usual hollow telescopic handles. So there's no danger of the locking mechanism slipping. Purchased after my old telescopic handles collapsed and smashed my thumb! Good trimming shears
