Might be good for some purposes
We have several patches of couch grass, and I bought the gel for helping eliminate it. With the gel container on its own, getting down close, we can press the gel against the leaves while pushing them towards the dispenser head with a piece of wood. The wand seemed to be a good idea, eliminating the need for stooping at each plant. Sadly we ran into two difficulties. Firstly the hand trigger on ours does not actually squeeze the gel out, but this still has to be done by pressing the button on the capsule. Secondly we cannot achieve a satisfactory transfer of gel to the weeds by holding th handle end.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

More accurate than taping gel dispenser to a stick of wood; but you can buy a lot of wood for $40.
Pros: Fits gel cartridge well. Makes it a precise way to apply gel without stepping on surrounding plants. Cons: Way too expensive. Costs were over $40; should be under $20 but had to buy from England. Could not find in the USA. Round Up gel wand
This wand cannot be used with any of the regular Round up gel bottles. It can only be used with a modified of bottle designed to be used with this wand and you have to know what to look for with the bottle.
