Useful and affordable gadget

Cheap broke straight away.

The worst pump in the world
I PURCHASED THIS PUMP A WEEK OR TWO AGO AND TODAY I CAME TO USE IT AND IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL . I OPENED THE PUMP TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE AND TO MY SURPRISE THE IMPELLER BLADE INSIDE IS MADE OF CHEAP CLEAR SILICONE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN IN MY LIFE A IMPELLER BLADE MADE OF SILICONE AVOID PURCHASING THIS ITEM IT'S A LOAD OF SHIITE.

Not for the stupid
So many reviews are highly critical of this pump & i’ll grant you it’s not idiot proof. What I did when I received this pump, before running it, I opened it up & yes, the impeller is made from a semi hard silicone. What you don’t want to do with this pump is either run it dry as it needs the water to lubricate the impeller & to cool it & the other big no no is to run it backwards ! This will most likely result in the impeller breaking up. I lubricated the impeller before putting it back together & tried it, it pumped water at a hell of a rate ! So to recap: don’t run it dry & don’t run it backwards !
