Brilliant and safe
I decided my gigs needed a bit of atmosphere. Using glycerine and distilled Water to make my own fluid for the machine I was surprised how well it works. It heats up very quickly about a minute and a light comes on on the controller to let you know you can dispense the fog. This machine will fill up a room in no time. A few short bursts is all that is needed. If you are close to a smoke alarm it may trigger it off so if you are using it at a venue please ask if they have a disco mode on their alarm system so you can avoid any unpleasant dealings with angry customers etc.. I used this in my kitchen and my smoke alarm went off but I had used way to much in a small room. Glycerine smh distilled water at a radio of 20% glycerine and 80% distilled Water will give you a fairly good smoke effect, varying percentage will result in different thickness of smoke effect. I don't recommend you go any further than the 20% 80% ratio as the glycerine is rather a thick and sticky liquid. You must shake your mixture vigorously for a couple of minutes and allow to settle before putting it in the container in the machine. It has a little pipe that will reach the bottom of the bottle. The casing gets rather warm so DO NOT put anything on it that could catch fire etc. Keep it well away from fabrics and other things. I wouldn't trail wires over it etc. Keep it isolated from everything as a precaution. Also once plugged in it will start heating up straight away so you must plug it in when needed and unplug it when not needed. Why it didn't have a power switch is a bit of a mystery. All in all a very capable smoke machine. Makes lasers visible and that's all I wanted it for. Happy days.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

A TRULY EXCELLENT BUY!
Really worth buying guys! I have just had our 23rd wedding anniversary and had a small party for my wife... Just for fun I purchase a laser light show, disco lights and this smoke machine. For the price I expected it to be a little rubbish in all honesty, but I was blown away with how good it actually was! It filled my entire front room in a matter of seconds... it was excellent! The cycling coloured LED lights inside really made the machine look amazing, I highly recommend this Smoke/Fog machine to anybody looking to purchase one... and it used very little smoke fluid, after an entire night of using it, it it only used about an inch of the fluid in the reservoir... A TRULY EXCELLENT BUY!

Just a quick review as I looked at loads of these on ebay.

It's fine for the price
Came in perfect condition (despite listing saying it could have scratches/dents) its small and very portable, works as it should (creates fog, but thickness of fog will depend on what liquid you buy and it should be water based for this machine) It took about 2 mins to warm up. I've taken one star off because the amount of noise it makes does my head in! It has a cut off feature to stop it getting too warm but I don't know if that works because I couldn't stand the noise for that long to find out.
