Just Perfect
A brilliant little device to protect the camera lens from dust & marks. No putting on & off like the lens cap initially provided by Panasonic limit LX100. Why this 3 leaf lens cap which becomes a fixture is not on the camera at purchase just amazes me, when Olympus on the S1 has the same fixed 3 leaf lens cap at purchase. Panasonic are wrong if they believe customers will buy this 3leaf lens cap from them, as an accessory, when people like me can buy the same item at a considerable less price on Ebay than Panasonic charge. A brilliant item and I love it. No more fiddling taking a lens cap off then back on again or even losing it. This 3 leaf lens cap works great when a 43m filter is also attached to the LX100 lens and cause no problems with opening & closing of the lens cap but beware there are 2 types out there of this lens cap. Convenient and practical
I've had the Lumix LX100 for a while now and had the lens cap attached to the lanyard to save losing it when the lens cap is off. However, I found that the cap on string often got in the way of the lens, especially when doing macro or low level shots and it was starting to annoy me. I didn't want to pay the price that Panasonic were asking for their proprietary automatic cap (why didn't they make this part of the camera in the first place) as I deemed it too expensive. The reviews on the JJC alternative were mixed with some saying the auto cap was a bit loose, but mine fits perfectly and snugly and the colour match (silver in my case) to the camera was spot on. I'm also happy that I can leave a filter in place when necessary and the cap still closes (the Panasonic one doesn't?). I'm very pleased to have this now but please ensure you follow the fitting instructions as there is a ring on the front of the lens which need removing before the autocap is put in place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect accessory
Great protector and impossible to lose. I use my camer every day and keep it on the dashboard of my vehicle, unfortunately this cap does not like the heavy use and after around four months the pins slide out. I keep an eye on them and push them back in but eventually I miss one and the spring comes off.
