I paid less than £8 & it works fine, enough said
for the money it is exceptional value compared to similar products, its built to a better standard than I was expecting, the only downside really is the size of the dial, being smaller than some of the more expensive types means the increments on the bar scale are a bit harder to read but this is only a problem on really low pressure, if you just want to check mains pressure for showers like me this gauge is fine, although I haven't checked it for accuracy against a known reference I cant imagine it would be far off enough to be a problemVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good, but could easily be improved
Worked well although it had to be screwed really tightly to tap to prevent leaks. After using twice on 3/4" outside tap the blue plastic ring connector is showing signs of wear on thread. It would be much better if this was brass for improved fit and strength and would have probably only cost a little more. The way it is assembled it doesn't look possible to replace this plastic connector if it does break, although the gauge does have a 'lifetime guarantee'.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pressure Gauge - great bit of kit
Useful the gauge to check water pressure - just screwed in to the outside tap point using the 3/4 BSP thread on the gauge and turned on the tap. Also comes with 1/2 inch insert adaptor so useful for that size too. Pressure range is ideal to show normal at 3 Bar to 11 Bar which would be a problem for the domestic system. Learned some useful info that my pressure was too high at 4.8 Bar and surged to unacceptable levels at about 8.5 Bar with washing machine activity. Now issue is resolved with a pressure regulator so no burst pipes ever, hopefully. Also could see how pressure dropped on demand so interesting to see why pipe size, pipe length and distance from stopcock can muck up the garden sprinkler etc. Problem all now fixed, so if I could get all my money back, would I sell it ?? - Never. Reives the time pressures
Bought this gauge to measure water pressure into my home. Could have got a local plumber or water company in, but to be honest it was quicker to order this in and do it myself. the gauge its easily to my external garden water tab via the standard garden hose connector and the pressure was easy to use. Mains Water Pressure tester
Ideal as a plumber if you need to test household pressure.... e.g. flow for a shower... can be installed easily onto either an external bib tap or a washing machine / dishwasher mains fed cold flow connector. Also shows how pressure drops when certain appliances are in use. Bought this gauge to test my water pressure due to having low water pressure from my new blanco tap it is a good quality gauge and very easy to use with different attachments, readings in bar and pressure, I got the result to find it was my new tap at fault which now has been replaced . I would recommend this pressure gauge and it is excellent value for money

Easy to use
Very easy to use on an outside tap. Has an adapter for smaller tapa if necessary but you will need an adapter for inside sink or bath taps. Good value mains water meter.
This mains water meter was good value as I would only likely use it a few times to test the water pressure when fitting showers and appliances. I was concerned when the gauge filled with water but after reading the manufacturers instructions I was assured as this is normal. It works very well and arrived quickly.
