It's a good shaver for someone's first NORELCO shaver.
Rotary shaving heads work best for me. Although the whole shaver feels flimsy in my hand, it does a good job. I particularly don't care for the power adapter and flimsy cord at first but, I've had to become used to it. My old rechargeable of more than 15 to 20 years just felt more solid. I will be getting a better soon and keep this one as a backup. It does shave well and on that note, I can say: "It's a good shaver for someone's first NORELCO shaver."Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Crummy cord
This is my third corded Norelco. With each one they get cheaper and cheaper. But, it shaves OK after I've used it a bit. The blades need to be seated in by running. They self sharpen. No sideburn trimmer, but I didn't use that much anyway. The worst part is the crummy cord. It uses a wall wart for power, which is OK, but the cord to the razor is thin and really stiff. I can understand being thin. It only carries low voltage and current. But there is no excuse for being so stiff. It does not store nicely when you put it away. I prefer a corded shaver, but next time I will look at other brands.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very Basic Shaver
No battery to go bad but it is corded only. There is no sideburn trimmer. With those limitations in mind, the shaver does a very good job at its essential task of removing my beard. The motor is on the weak side but the blades chop everything down adequately. Great shaver
As I stated great shaver, but it does not have the capability to trim side burns. I will need to find something else to trim my side burns. The item was not misrepresented because the information on it never said anything about the ability to cut them. Okay for the price

Shave is good enough to b e sure . The cord is obviously inadequate and inconvenient . Even for the extra money to give it a tried and true coiled spring cord, it would have made for a totally satisfied customer. I feel the attempt was made to conceal this shortcoming in the ad. Great price for a good product
My norelco that i have used for 40 years went to his final resting place so I ordered this basic unit. It is comfortable, light and gives a good shave. I wish the cord was a bit more heavy duty.
