A little helper...
I'm surprised the hive thermostat doesn't have a better range and one needs a booster. However in my property the main Hive stat simply didn't 'reach' the receiver..just one too many walls! The signal booster did indeed resolve the issue. So if you're having handshake problems between the Hive stat and the receiver you'll need the booster. It was easy to install so no worries there. Of course it will occupy a 13 amp outlet and it's ideal to make sure it stays put! No good if your cleaner unplugs it! Happy heating! JMVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simple no fuss installation.

Good for heating control but not for camera.
Good for some Hive products. Beware, though, that it does not help with the outside camera. The camera constantly buffers and won't work properly on live monitoring. I have yet to solve this problem but it if fine for boosting the heating control signal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
