Bad experience just didn't work - pump useless
Very simply a pump is supposed to pump, it didn't. In other words it would not pressurise. It was not worth the trouble of sending it back - so it was dispatched to the bin. So the small loss has been put down to experience. I thought I would risk another brand which worked as it should. Pressure pump
This pressure sprayer pump carries 2 litres which is perfectly adequate for my needs. My last one was far too heavy and had to be slung over my shoulder which gave me less control. This item is compact and easy to manoeuvre and manageable and, let's not pretend, 2 litres covers a decent size of drive/garden/path/yard. Nice sprayers but----
Sadly the sprayers have a nasty habit of back syphoning over the handle when you finish using them. So you have to take measures to place in a bucket or other receptacle so you don't flood the floor. Disappointed that I can't easily leave the contents in the sprayer for the next time I use it. No pressure release valve and this may be why it is syphoning back over the handle. Did not work!
Filled the bottle with water, then pumped as instructed. Unfortunately the bottle would not pressurise. Instead the air simply leaked out of the handle area. After a little 'YT' research, this is a very common issue, involving a very poor seal around the internal nozzle connector. Purchased a second one elsewhere, same issue but managed to hopefully fix, although not sure how long the fix will last.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

E bay v Retail
Bought a similar sprayer in a High Strreet chain and thought it was the bees nees. Went to buy another and wondered why there were no more available. Left the original for a weekend with a mild solution of water and bleach and the container swelled and nozzle blocked up. Off to E bay and here we are even with free delivery.
