Good product, but like all clamp meters it has its limitations.
A good solid product that works as expected. I bought this as I felt I needed a clamp meter for measuring the current going to my Car starter motor when in use. It did this perfectly well, but note that it does not measure milliamps. I also wanted to be able to measure the current used by household electricals. But although it will do this, you can't just put the clamp over the mains lead as the input and output will cancel each other out. So I will take a very short extension lead and carefully remove a section of the outer cable covering, exposing the 3 individual wires but without damaging their sleeves. Then I will plug my electrical device into the mains via this extension lead and put the clamp meter over the live wire to give me the current going through the device.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good little tester
Good little tester. Only really wanted a DC Amp clamp so got way more with this little package. The leads are a bit weedier and the plastic casing feels more plasticy than I'm use to with meters. All in all very good meter at this price point.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
