    FENDER BRIDGE COVER

    Lost my original Custom Shop `bridge cover, so decided to buy a replacement. They are expensive for what they are, but got it for less than most of the ones on sale. It fitted well and looked good. However, my Strat is a heavy relic. So needed to relic it my self.

    Only get one if you have and American Strat. (Or if don't mind making it fit.)

    As an official Fender product it's all there. Quality is good. It's all that you would want except... It was brought as an OEM product for a JAPANESE 54 Resissue Strat from 1993. It therefore is a little too large and doesn't stay pressed on. I'm sure if it was an American guitar the sizing would be slightly different. Clearly it's my fault in that it's not a proper 54 reissue and I'm sure it will stay on with a bit of bending. It's just a bit of a nuisance.

    Great retro product gives vintage look to 50s strat. Does need a little fettling to get it to fit over the saddles and stay in place but great once fitted.

    I recently bought a 2021 Fender MX Strat...

    I recently bought a 2021 Fender MX Stratocaster. I previously owned a 1983 Fender JP Stratocaster, with a Floyd Rose. Earlier in I had a 1958 US Fender strat with the "ash tray" cover. But this ash tray will cover the 2021 start, but falls off when in playing position. Bugger.

    Stratocaster ashtray

    Some people don't like them, some people do...I like them a lot. This is a great product but not all stratocaster bridges are the same so make sure you check dimensions and bridge design.
