Good replacement for old Omron BP785 if you have blue connector from old cuff
The replacement cuff for my older Omron BP785 (not BP785N) was seemingly no longer available through Omron or medical supply companies. I read reviews for info about whether this one would work, with some folks saying it was the wrong size. Someone said all they had to do was exchange the blue connector for the blue connector from the old cuff so I took a chance. Yep...that worked. The connector that comes on this cuff is too small to fit into the hole on the monitor, but I was able to disconnect it from the rubber those and exchange it for the blue connector from the hose of the old cuff. Fits fine and this cuff seems to work perfectly. I do agree with others that this Comfit cuff is a little harder to get on than my older gray Comfit cuff. It seems more curved and rigid than the old one. Yet I'm happy to be able to be using my better Omron unit instead my cheaper ReliOn BP unit that gives lots of error readings when my blood pressure is elevated.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

LOT BETTER THAN OLD STYLE CUFFS!
I Love this cuff. Wrestling with the original style I had was a pain.. I have compared the two several times and they are always within 5 points of each other. Most people know that even testing just ONE cuff, a second time, can be a few points different. I read where some people thought their readings were not accurate. I believe my readings are very close and the EASE of use is worth any minor variance. Just be sure to place it in the same and proper place every time. This replacement cuff is identical to the original equipment. It fits and works perfectly. However, I say "no" to "Is it a good value?" because the cuff costs $19 and a brand new Omron BP786 monitor, complete with cuff, costs $40.
