We could use some instructions
I bought this for my wife and she loves it. The machine has opened up an entirely new avenue of creativity for her in her card making. She did have a comment that I thought should be passed on to the manufacturer -- Please, please include some basic instructions for the correct operation of the machine. We found minimal graphic instructions on the pad but certainly not enough, trial and error could get to be somewhat expensive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Can't use Precision Plate for Detail Thinlits. Difficult to feed cutting stack through machine
It's great for larger dies. I can't use my precision plate for cutting detail thinlits dies. I can't get the detail dies to cut all they do is emboss. For detail thinlits dies, I still have to use my sizzix big kick, with the precision plate. I also have difficulty getting the platform and the plates to feed through the machine. The cutting plates are not bevelled at the edge to start more easily. Sizzix needs to make a precision plate for the plus machine. I am thinking about getting a different brand of wider machine. The instruction booklet is useless. The plus embossing folders are awesome, happy to be able to use 81/2x11 embossing folders. I bought this machine because I bought a Tattered Lace Shadow box die and realized after I bought it that it was too wide for my big kick. This machine is great for that bigger die. I will be keeping my big kick. I am disappointed with the ability to cut detail thinlits dies.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

One of the best lightweight machine
Great machine, I have the big shot & the big shot pro so I was happy to see the 8 1/2" wide to add to my addition of big shot machines. Cut very difficult dies with one pass. Very easy to use. If anyone is looking for a machine to cut 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper this is the machine to have. Very lightweight to handle especially with the arthritis in my hands. BigShot Plus is Amazing
Absolutely love the product and the included die set. The only complaint is that there should be some sort of manual describing what the die pieces are, what they do. The little booklet jus shows the "setup" of the adapter sheets and cutting pads. I wasted one of the sheets of paper testing it out, guess I assumed there would be something more substantial in the way of instruction.
