Vortex cm-202... perfection
This was exactly what I expected coming from Vortex... pure perfection!!! The mount is solid, sturdy and well built. The install was easy and didn’t take but a minute to get put on and paired with my Vortex strike eagle 1x8x24 scope. The scope was installed on a Daniel Defense AR-15 chambered in 556 and had held up well. I haven’t had any issue with it holding 0. The mount stays secure and snug. Bobro Makes Great Scope Mounts
The mount is well-machined and has a strong mechanism to lock in and remove from a rifle's Picatinny rail. Excellent return-to-zero capability. Best of all it's made in the United States. As usual, thoroughly check the article prior to buying. Chinese patent infringement ripoff artists have become quite skillful and producing cheap, unreliable products that mimic those made in the U.S. It's also unfortunate that eBay seems to turn a blind eye to scammers foreign and domestic. Nice company, quick response when I received the wrong mount. They offered to replace with the correct mount at no charge. I was able to use the mount I was sent. I received a three inch offset instead of two. I would have given 5 stars if I received the correct mount. Now, I know who to purchase accessories from, because I know they will be in contact if there is a problem. Excellent quality. I have two of these and would get more when needed. Works as it should
I have it on a AR that is built as an SPR with the 30mm 1-8X vortex strike eagle. So far it works. I have not really put it through the paces yet, since it has only been on the rifle a relatively short time. I wish it was a quicker process to release than 4 screws. This is a mount that helped me to overcome a problem with some problems with my shooting. I was not happy with my rifle until I re-mounted my scope with this cantilever mount. I mounted this on my rifle and then the scope. When I bore sighted the rifle, it was about an inch off. First shot at the range was at 50 yards. Impact was two inches left and with a little adjustment, was right on. A very precision mount. Very happy!
