love it with Logic Pro X

If you are a Logic Pro user this thing is awesome. in fact i am starting to think they created the X-Touch primarily for Logic. It was easy to set up and all the buttons work as they are supposed to. In my opinion, Behringer hit a home run with this one. for the price you are not going to find a better controller for Logic Pro. I also use Pro Tools and Digital Performer. With these, the X-touch works, but there is less functionality. The faders, pan and transport all work fine but not all the special function buttons. I am hoping in future updates this will be fixed. but since logic is my primary DAW, i am thrilled with the X-Touch

    Behringer x-touch

It's great that this is available. My DAW of choice is PT 11, Ive found that many of the single button commands and the jog wheel, do nothing. I haven't tried it in any other DAW yet. It also loses it's connection in random spurts which is annoying (totally unreliable if you're automating a live recording). So for now this product has a shaky functionality record at best and I only use it for automating volume on 8 tracks simultaneously as well as plug in parameters and panning so it gets the job done...? In a way... when I turn it off and back on maybe once or twice throughout a 7 min song and reset the peripheral settings to nothing and then back to the x-touch. Sigh. Needless to say, I'm going to keep saving for an avid controller but I will keep working with the behringer until then.

  • Good Bang For The Buck

Works great with the Mackie protocol. Tried to program in a universal remote mode but Behringer says it's not capable. The compact version and the mini version are fully capable so why not the full featured model? Other than this, the X-Touch is very flexible and fully featured especially next to other controllers in this price point. It's well built but the faders trail the rest of the unit in that respect. They're not cheap but don't feel as sturdy as on my last controller. All around good product though.

  • Incredible value and Easier to use than a mouse.

If you record to a DAW and don't use a control surface, you don't know how hard you are making it on yourself. Behringer is teh only company making this high end of a control surface that includes a digital time code display, VU's on every channel and scribble strips for this great of a price. Additionally, it works with nearly every DAW out there and is extremely well built.

  • This has changed everything

I use the X-Touch with my XR-18 in a live band of 9 musicians and I am the keyboard player. We would normally bring on a sound mean to mix, but with this thing it is easy for one of us to do it. I could say more but am going on my phone and that's no fun. If you're thinking of getting it, than just get it. You sing be disappointed.

  • All Smiles

I have made beats as a hobby for many years. I have recorded using DJ mixers, tape decks and CD recorders. Although the DAWs used today utilizes all the features of those mentioned above by using a mouse, I still prefer tactile contact of of faders, knobs, buttons, etc... I love the level of control it gives me in controlling my DAW.

  • X Touch 9

I actually purchased the X Touch from this seller. But it is a great unit. Straight out of the box, it connected to my DAW. There are still a few things that I need to understand about the unit, but the potential for reducing eye strain and increasing work flow while working in a digital audio workstation is very great. I recommend this for any home studio set up. The touch sensitive faders alone are worth it!

  • This thing is pretty cool!

The behringer x touch is actually pretty cool. Obviously depending on the software, certain buttons do different thing and some simply do do anything at all but that's nothing to do with the product. It's just the software. I can confirm though that it does work with (Using Windows 10) FL Studio, Pro Tools 12, and Studio One. I love this product and does impact my workflow in my home studio! 😁 Great job Behringer!

  • Nice system not fully Baked

The X- touch is connected to and x-air18 and works well however there are many simple functions that should be available that are not. There are enouph buttons but the software between this and the Air has some huge holes. As is the case with most of the Behringer products documentation especially on using their devices together is sorely lacking.

  • Awesome!!!!

Works great with Reaper. A little tricky to configure to get it to work with Reaper, but it works like a charm. Love the motorized faders. Awesome purchase.
