Rit dye
Had been struggling to dye my peach wedding dress with ordinary dye read about this and as I had allready messed dress up went three different colours using Dylon it went perfect couldn't do it on stove used my sink but boiled water and kept adding more it turned out the black I had wanted

Disappointed with results.
Not a fault with the dye. I dyed a coat that was already the colour of the dye. I had put a new exposed zip on the coat but was unable to get the dark grey. The coat took the dye ok but it did not touch the zip. It sticks out like a sore thumb being very light grey. So waste of time. I have used Rit before but not the polyester one. Great product - no need to boil!
I used this to dye a polyester fluffy dressing gown. I didn't boil it as I had no pan big enough, so I boiled up as much water as I could , put it in a clean food waste bin with the dye and item, closed the lid and left it for 40 mins.
