works better than dogmatic at stopping pulling
I had one already for a bitch who can nip sometimes and I quickly realised that if the under hoop run through the muzzle next to the skin, it caused the head to be pulled down and so made pulling impossible for the dog couldn't see where she was going. I had been ill and my other dog realising I wasn't as strong as usual decided to make a try for top dog by pulling on his dogmatic. Not suited to Doberman head shape.
Bought for my Doberman but found that the Large size was too small especially around the nose. Could only just fit it on him with nose strap opened to full extent. He hated it so much he fought it with front paws till slide buckle came loose and whole thing came free. He has an average sized head for a Dobie. Trixie large muzzle loop
I had two of the old version of this muzzle and needed to replace one. The new version is softer around the nose because Trixie has changed the material. My dog seems to prefer it.
