Phillips Hue
A much needed addition to any room. Switched out my boring, single colour on/off filament bulb to one of these, possibly the best addition to my room yet considering the price! Great, vibrant colours, plus a dimming function! The cheaper options you find dotted around ebay and amazon just dont cut it for me - often they have bad apps or you run into other problems, such as overheating - which the Hue bulb seems very resistant to - even when in use for hours on end. Phillips Hue is just so easy and just overall a great addition to any room.

Simple and easy to use but not bright enough
Phillip hue bulbs are simple plug and play devices. The app is easy to setup. The hue bridge is also easy to setup. The bulbs always connect to Wifi so no issue from connectivity point of view. The bulb also has brilliant colours. However, the brightest they go to is equivalent to an 80W bulb which is a shame because for around £40 you would expect to use one maybe two bulbs for good coverage and brightness. These bulbs obviously don't do that. I ended up moving the bulb to my bedroom rather than having it in the family room.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The bulb works great but not the same as others that I have bought direct from Philips.
