Roland has got it Right!!
Ive been a pro-drummer since the 1960's and and played just about every kind of music on acoustic kits. I did invest in Roland T707 drum machine in the 1980's mainly for songwriting demo's and studio work. At times frustrating to programme or play the very small pads with my fingers in real time was sometimes a real pain, but I liked the sound of it. So when I saw the Roland TD1-KV electronic drum kit advertised below £500 and looked at some demos on Youtube, specially the 10 year old amazing Japanese girl playing the very same kit, I was then convinced, that was the kit for me, I was excited! The kit is easy to set up and takes up very little space and very quite when played as you are only hitting rubber drum & cymbal pads, that trigger the drum samples in the module. I set it up in the spare bedroom and the only noise is from the bass drum pedal, resonating through the floor boards and just slightly from the hi-hat pedal. I cured that by two 6inch x 15inch 1/2 inch chip board with a dense foam rubber stuck underneath and placed the pedals on top. I then recorded some tracks with some drumless backing tracks, and WOW! its amazing. Just did some slight adjustments to the e.q and reverb on the mixing desk and it sounds GREAT!! The whole kit itself is very quiet when played without disturbing anyone, and takes up far less space then my acoustic kit and nice and light to carry, I couldn't do that with my acoustic kit. Just wished this kit was around in the 1980's! All in all Roland has got it right, and it was a great choice! Many Thanks Roland! Regards, ljoh4682

Great instrument
I will never regret for buying this drum set. This is way better than i expected even better than the acustic ones for my purpose. Roland made a very good and affordable instrument. Great fun to play with it. Absolutlelly realistic drum sounds and feeling! I am happy with it.
