Wind up alarm clock
Bought this for my parents as their old clock stopped working. I set the alarm and the time. I set the alarm for 705am,both hands on the alarm setting move the same. My parents informed me that the alarm had gone off at 135am. I had a look at it when I next saw them and tried again to set the alarm, I did get it to work but also realised that the hands on the alarm settings have been put on the wrong way round. "Old fashioned" loud alarm !
A loud old style, wind up alarm clock that does what it's designed to do. However, it's a sign of the times that the mechanism has the dreaded plastic winders & knobs where my old one has solid metal ones. Having said all this, I didn't buy it to be used as a conventional alarm clock as I intend to remove the bells, modify one of the winders (which is why I dislike plastic) & fit it in a custom housing !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This clock is excellent for someone who finds that modern electronic alarm clocks are not loud enough to wake them. The double bell alarm is very loud indeed.
