Tip of the Steinberg...............I'll get me coat!
Whilst some companies are opting for online registration and activation of their plugins, there are those that have remained in the tried-and-tested dongle key license activation park and this still makes complete sense, as piracy still hasn't managed to crack the eLicenser in code form! Whilst it is somewhat annoying to find out you have to purchase an extra piece of hardware just so you can operate your newly purchased software (as it wasn't evident at the time of purchase) it isn't too much of a hardship long-term.
