Been in use for several days and produces good amount of air. Very good good construction and sensible no fuss shape. A good touch is the spare bellows in with the purchase. Over many years of keeping goldfish and Koi I have had many types of pump, this seem superior to many others for this price range. Wildlife pond aeration
I have had a 750 litre preformed wildlife pond for 4 years with breeding newts.The severe winter badly effected the water quality.Apparently the water had gone anaerobic-an abundance of harmful bacteria which thrive in low oxygen conditions.Crystal clear water is a bad sign.It just means the water is lifeless.The Blagdon aerator provides good aeration.After just 2 days the water had a healthy green tinge and was teeming with daphnia-great food for newts.The only criticism of the aerator is the airpipe is a whopping 5 meters in length but the power lead is a measly 1.5 meters.It only consumes 3 watts and costs virtually nothing to run.Pleased with the quality of the product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good powerful pump but a few cavets.
Good powerful pump but had to extend the mains cable and the could not straiten the tightly coiled green tubes which I hung in the airing cupboard to try to. I replaced with black as they where too visible, Clear or black would have been better than green.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
