Clear to read & easy to use
I have used various brands of clip on tuners and keep coming back to the Snark ones. They are easy to use. All the ones I have had have been accurate. They are clear to read. The swivel head allows for viewing at different angles. This and the chromatic scale means it is possible to use it on a range of different instruments. Snark ukulele tuner
I have several clip on tuners and having several ukuleles, I like to leave one permanently in the bag/case. Having acquired another ukulele (as you do) I found myself needing another tuner. Having seen the Snark advertised, although being a little more expensive than my usual choice, I thought I would try one and see if I could spot the difference. I have to say that the Snark is indeed worth the extra cost. It is far more accurate and also very versatile in the head stock positioning. The universal joints on the tuner enables multiple positions from both top and underside which is very helpful with both 2 a side or 4 on one side head stocks. A quality item
I'm sure this tuner is more accurate than the one I was using previously. It also has a bright and clear display, and switches on/off quickly - you don't have to hold the button down to switch it on or off. Too soon to say whether the brighter display will mean a shorter battery life. The clip has quite a strong spring, so you need to squeeze it hard to clip it onto your ukulele, but the clip is well padded, so it shouldn't cause any damage.
