  • Good value microphone

I bought this mic to use on my cajon I have used it in rehearsals and it sounds good nice and open and clear. I have used them before on my drum kit toms and they sound great with no feedback problems. I would say give them a try you maybe very surprised.

  • Great Value Mic for general use

This is Stagg’s copy of the industry standard Shure SM57 at a fraction of the cost. The unit is a sturdy construction and comes in its own protective case. I have a few Shure SM mics and comparing the response of the Stagg it is hard to tell the difference. We are using these for mic on drum kits and guitar amps etc. They deliver a great sound. Comparing the vocal characteristics when used with singers they are equally good but you can tell the Shure just has the edge with response but the Stagg is perfectly good for a quarter of the cost. We have been using the Stagg mics now for a while and they seem to be up to the rigours of use. Hope this helps.

  • Quality for recording.

I use 2 of these mics in the studio, 1 for my High Hat cymbals and 1 for the underside of my snare. They reproduce the sound exceptionally well and I am more than satisfied. We have also used them to record a bass guitar and a lead guitar. Opinions from the rest of the band is "They record as well as a Sure 57". I tend to agree. I have not used them live on stage so unable to comment about feedback or sound bleed.
