AMAZING product. Finally something made intelligently to work properly.
I use this every single day, solves the free hand and being in control problem. The attachment goes on the bike easily and does not interfere with my back light. The attachment comes off easily. The connectors are great, well designed. How many products can you say are well designed? After my son broke his collarbone trying to give the dog exercise while riding a bike and holding the leash we invested in the Walky dog. I am in my 60's and use this daily for our dog. Our dog loves it! She gets really excited every time I pull out the bike because she loves to run really fast. No one paid me to write this review, I am just really excited about this product. The connection is really strong but comes right off when you are ready to remove it. (i don't know the name of this connector). I am female and old and I can use it very easily. Great way for you and your dog to get exercise
It took a little bit of practice at first but once we got used to it is wonderful. When I let the 3 dogs out from the house the first thing they do is run over to the bike looking to me to take them out. The car used to be the most fun for them. Now they go right past the car and run straight to the bike. It is fun because they pull me up the hills. The Walky Dog is easy to put on the bike and easily detaches if you want to take it off. I have one big dog (Doberman) and 2 small Jack Russells that go on it so it accomodates big and small dogs without a problem You just adjust it to their height. This bar works perfectly so far. Remember to remove that rubbery tab inside the clamp that goes underneath the bicycle seat or else it won't tighten enough and will move while your dog is being tugged. Outstanding Quality & Easy to use
So impressed with the quality of all of the parts. Easy to install on my bike The engineering is so clever, well thought out. On the first go, we had success. My dog now comes to be clipped on. I can feel him pull occasionally, but the design of the Walkydog prevents him from pulling me over - I am in control, not the dog (important for safety). I am so pleased with the WalkyDog and I recommend this product highly. I had been warned away from attempting bike/dog walking, and took a long time to look into options before I decided to attempt it.
