No Frills Just Function
Okay, so this Electronic Ear Muff is not as 'refined' as other BTH Sets. It WORKS Just As Well! And for a ⅓ of the price, or less, depending on where you buy 'm; you can't go Wrong! Sure, inserting the batteries is a bit tedious; it is not so bad that a Git 'R Done & Thankful Man can't handle it with a bit of patience! I think other reviewers complained about that because they're used to, or were expecting a flimsy "Delicate" set of earmuffs. But this is Not the case with the PELTOR Tactical 6S Electronic Earmuffs. Simply put, they're tough enough for a wise man to handle with care, without ruining them. Especially when you consider what your gaining. The ability to wear Winter Gear on your head. Freedom of pain from having a Hardhat crammed and vise- gripped onto your head, just to stay Safe! The 1st thing I did, after installing the batteries, was to turn them on to where I could hear the Television, and clapped my hands to find out how well the Noise Cancellation worked. And they worked flawlessly. Not only did they Shutdown; they did so INSTANTLY. I could barely hear the Claps! Sooo, while they're not filled with frills. They WORK. These work perfectly.
I think these are perfect for someone who has to keep a hat on and needs to wear them around the back of their head. They work very well and are low profile which is a plus. The only thing Peltor could have done to make these 100% is if they would have designed the so that battery install would have been a lot easier.
