They look great installed
While thinner than the originals and not an exact fit, they do go on, and they do certainly look better than the old broken ones. From ten feet away, you can't tell the difference..works for me....and all of the replacements, even direct from Gretsch are like this, so, again...works for me. A good recreation of the vintage rings.
I purchased these to use on a custom built guitar and they are of the size, dimension and shape of the original vintage mounting rings from what I can see. There were no issues with installation and the fit and finish on them is excellent. The silver color is true to original. Some of the mold-marks may not be correct on the bottom, but this is a good thing, because you would want to be able to tell a real vintage one from an aged new one. All in all, the right thing for the job if you are looking for a fascia to cover up the routing edges when mounting filtertrons.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
