Useless!
I tried to plane a small amount of wood to ease the bottom of a softwood door. Although the blade was inserted the correct way round it slid over the surface barely cutting the wood. I suppose you get what you pay for and I now wish I had spent a little extra on a genuine Stanley blade.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doesn’t cut like an original Stanley blade
This blade has teeth which are not raised sufficiently like the original Stanley blade, so it does not work well. I would not buy another and I have already ordered annother original Stanley blade to replace it. Disappointing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Waste of money
The blade is not sharp enough to plane wood or anything else. The original Stanley blade now sadly breaking up is still sharper than this product. Buy the genuine Stanley blade even if it is a higher price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
