Poor power clip.
Did expect better from Peco... These clip, whilst functional, have no fixing points to secure to the baseboard which mean unless you glue them down they tend to move about too much. For DCC operation this meant power was interrupted forcing the Hornby Select controller I have to revert into default "03" setting, thus losing control over the trains I had running. I have now purchased a Hornby powerclip instead as this is still the best option in my view other than directly soldering onto the track.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Has potential as an idea be needs improvement.
Unfortunately the side blocks are too close for efe underground trains and the side pick up shoes block carriage travel. Otherwise OK for steam locos and normal rolling stock. This is where Hornby score because their system clips under the rail instead of at the side of the rail and has a shamfered connection block away from the track.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
