My Wen - Great Machine
Got this machine a few weeks ago and it is the best machine I have had in a long time . I had several others , but this one is the best so far . Very quiet operation , Takes up little room on my bench, very easy on saw blades . Easy to change blades, Flexible light stays where you put it , does not vibrate off the work piece. Blower works well in keeping the work area clean . Great saw for the Money - If you are looking for a great saw , this Wen is the one to buy . You will be very satisfied . No Good for Beginner
Cutting soft white pine 1X4 (3/4" thick in actuality) Mine vibrates so bad it is almost impossible to follow the line. I have it bolted down, have rubber cushions under it also. The work piece jumps in time with the saw blade and I have to use a good bit of hand strength to hold it down as I cut, it gets very tiring on the hands. The round plastic insert in middle of table does not fit flush with table, It is a bit lower than the table, it stops the piece from moving and I have to lift the piece a bit to get over the table edge and move on. Yes, it does the job, but it is not enjoyable, It is not fun, more like work than anything else.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I am a scroll saw beginner, so take this for what you will, but I have been very happy with this saw. It has all the features I was looking for, tensioning and blade-changing are easy, and I was able to get started with my projects right out of the box. I'm a newbie when it comes to scroll saws. This is my first one and it's so easy to use, it cuts through 1 1/2 inch cedar with no problem. Wen scroll saw
It is lightweight and well worth the money. I'm a 70 yr. old female. I got this saw to use for myself. I am cutting wild birds out of 1X4 boards. For the wings I'm cutting them out of vinal siding.
